We love the Giant Red Salvia!
They are a very hardy plant here in South Texas. The Giant Salvia can grow to over 6’ tall when nestled in a nice shady spot under a tree. Because they are hardy here, even when we have the occasional freeze, they will pop back up as soon as the warm weather returns. They bloom year around here, too…so, expect butterflies and hummingbirds to stop by regularly for a sip and a nibble.
