About 17 years ago, a group of friends met and learned how to loom knitted prayer shawls and caps. The goal was to send these around the world with missionaries, as well as many make for friends and local needs.
Well, our goal was surpassed and after some time of yarn and looms in the back of cars, boxes stuffed under beds and filling closets, we thought we had outgrown what we could do...BUT GOD flung open the doors for us to form a non-profit to help fund and grow this prayer shawl ministry.
Our goal is to teach others how to knit, loom knit or crochet in order to encourage their personal growth in Christ and enable them to develop a habit of serving others less fortunate by sharing the love of Christ in helping Christian missionaries in our local community and abroad.
The shop portion sells yarn, notions, bags and hand crafted gift items in order to help fund all this...Your support of the shop is what will help send prayer shawls, hats, any knitted or crocheted items and hugs around the world!

~ In 2021 The Lamb’s Loom served 18 different mission groups.
~ In 2022 we served 23 different mission groups!
~ In 2023 we served 24 mission groups!
~ In 2024 we served 25 mission groups!
~ In 2025 we served 25 mission groups!
~ In 2021 over 4800 items were sent with these groups.
~ In 2022 5675 items were sent out!
~ In 2023 5575 items were sent out!
~ In 2024 5604 items were sent out!
~ In 2025 5128 items were sent out!
~ We have added another outside Sit-n-Knit space, for 3 areas to get together.
Growth is happening everywhere around here! Every year we see needs met and although, we’re a small non-profit, with your gifts and God’s direction we are able to help thousands around the world receive love-in-every-stitch that’s put together! There will be so many gifts of encouragement being sent out. Hats in Durango, Mexico and hats in the Appalachians and blankets in Reynosa and, well y’all get the idea! Thanks to your lovely, warm gifts we are also blessed to be able to provide some temporary warmth to our locals who are without housing, or do not have access to a home with any heat. And year around we provide a local pregnancy center with baby hats and booties, prayer shawls for local grief care groups and Knitted Knockers to two clinics.
The list is growing and we are grateful for each and every one who continues to support us!
