We just love this tree!
The Shaving Brush Tree is originally from Eastern Mexico. It grows well in in the RGV, but not much further north, as it loves our temperate climate. This Shaving Bruch Tree grows to be about 12 feet tall and seems to prefer, being the secondary tree, nestled under a palm tree. In Mexico you can see them growing on the sides of hills right there with their Palm tree friends.
The blooms are amazing to see pop out, usually as it begins to warm up in February. First you will see the beautiful blooms and then the leaves will begin to push out. We may need to plant one at The Lamb’s Loom on day!
